When you search around, the Google Shopping results fill up with wall beds from Costco, Home Depot, BredaBeds, and Murphy Bed Depot, usually somewhere between about $970 and $3,700. Ours are real hardwood, milled and built to the exact dimensions of your wall, which is the difference between a unit that fills the space cleanly and one that leaves a few inches of awkward gap on either side. The box-store bed comes in a handful of finishes, take it or leave it. We match the color to what's already in your home, so the bed looks like it belongs to the room instead of like it was added later.
Then there's everything that happens after the purchase. A retail bed shows up as a pile of boxes, and you either build and mount it yourself or pay a third party to do it. We deliver, assemble, level, and anchor the unit to the studs ourselves, with no separate install fee, and we leave the room clean. Yes, because it uses a real mattress. You can put any quality mattress up to about 12 inches thick in most of our units, and the frame is built to the same standards as a regular hardwood bed. Most guests have no idea they slept in a wall bed until someone tells them.
