Murphy Beds in Brentwood, TN

Brentwood homes are built to a standard. The furniture that goes into them should be too. We design, build, and install real hardwood Murphy beds, made in Middle Tennessee by the same shop since 2014, finished to match the home they're going into.

The Brentwood Standard

A Wall Bed in a Brentwood Home Has to Match Its Place

After years of working in Brentwood, we know the bar is higher here. When we install a Murphy bed in a home off Concord Road or in Governors Club, it's usually going into a room with ten-foot ceilings, heavy trim, and custom cabinetry somewhere within eyeshot. A laminate cabinet with visible mounting hardware doesn't survive that comparison. The homeowners know it, and honestly, so do the companies selling those cabinets.

That's why our Brentwood projects are almost never just a bed. They're a guest suite that has to match the study across the hall. They're a bonus room over a three-car garage that needs a king bed, and yes, we build kings, because Brentwood guest rooms host couples, in-laws, and grandparents, not just the occasional college kid on an air mattress. They're a home office where the desk and the bed share one wall and both have to look like the builder put them there.

We're a local Middle Tennessee shop, not a franchise. Since 2014 we've built hundreds of custom wall beds across Williamson County, we've been featured on WSMV's "Today in Nashville" and in Williamson County Living magazine, and when you call 931-272-8992 you're talking directly to the people who will design and build your bed.

What We Build in Franklin

Every Bed Solves a Real Problem in a Real Room

We don't sell models off a shelf. Every project starts with a free visit to your Franklin home, where we look at the actual space and talk through what you're trying to fix. Maybe it's a guest room that sits empty most of the year, an office you wish could host your in-laws, or a bonus room that's become a catch-all. Here's the range of what we build:

Custom Murphy Beds

Twin, full, queen, and king, in horizontal or vertical layouts. We match your trim color, your cabinetry, and your stain so the finished unit reads as a built-in instead of a piece of furniture parked against the wall.

Murphy Bed with Desk

A genuine working desk that folds out when you need to work and tucks away when family comes to town. It's the answer for the office that has to double as a guest room, which in Franklin is most of them.

Murphy Bed with Sofa

A sitting room by day, a real bedroom by night. The sofa stays put while the bed comes down over it, so a bonus room can finally pull double duty without looking like it's trying to.

Murphy Bed with TV & Media Console

TV panel, shelving, and cable management built right into the unit. Good fit for a media room or a finished basement that occasionally needs to put up overnight guests.

Murphy Bed with Table

A table that folds down out of the cabinet, built for studios, casitas, and smaller footprints where one wall has to do the work of two rooms.

Custom Cabinetry & Add-Ons

LED task lighting, USB charging ports, soft-close drawers, pantry-style storage, and paint matched to your Benjamin Moore or Sherwin-Williams colors, plus custom stains. The details are where a built-in earns its keep.

We Know These Homes

Brentwood Rooms Have Their Own Rules

Brentwood's one-acre lots produced a particular kind of house: big footprints, tall ceilings, bonus rooms over multi-car garages, and finished basements that have been media rooms, gyms, and now increasingly need to sleep people too. Those rooms give us space to work with, which is why so many of our Brentwood builds are king beds with full cabinetry surrounds rather than a bare cabinet on a wall.

The details change from neighborhood to neighborhood. Homes in the established areas off Franklin Road and Concord Road often have stained millwork and traditional trim profiles that a stock white laminate cabinet would fight with, so we stain to match. Newer construction toward the Split Log Road side tends toward painted trim and transitional styling, where our painted hardwood finishes in matched Benjamin Moore colors sit naturally. And the bonus rooms over garages, which is where a large share of our Brentwood beds end up, usually have kneewalls and sloped ceilings that make an in-person measurement the difference between a unit that fits the room and one that fights it.

We serve all of Brentwood and the surrounding area, including Franklin, Nolensville, Oak Hill, and Forest Hills. The consultation and the installation both happen at your home, on your schedule.

We love our Murphy bed design for our playroom. They designed in everything we asked for; nightstands,, shelves, lights, and even a toy box. We highly recommend Nashville Murphy beds if you want a high-quality product!

Common Questions

What Brentwood Homeowners Ask Us

Do you build king size Murphy beds?

Yes. Twin, full, queen, and king, in vertical and horizontal orientations. Most franchise wall bed lineups stop at queen, so if you need a king for a Brentwood guest suite, a custom build is usually the only way to get one that looks right.

How long does the whole process take?

Most projects run about 4 to 8 weeks from your first consultation to the finished install, depending on our build schedule and how involved your design is. The installation itself usually takes a single day.

Can the bed match my existing built-ins and trim?

That's the core of what we do. We match Benjamin Moore and Sherwin-Williams colors and mix custom stains against samples of your existing woodwork. The finished unit should look like it was installed when the house was built.

Can you match the finish to the rest of my home?

That's one of the biggest reasons to go custom. We match Benjamin Moore and Sherwin-Williams paint colors and offer custom stains, so if you send us your trim color, we match it. The goal is a unit that looks built in, not set in front of a wall.

Will it hold up to regular use, or is it just for occasional guests?

Ours are built for either. The frame is hardwood, the mechanism is rated for daily cycling, and the bed takes a standard mattress up to about 12 inches. Some wall bed makers note that their mechanisms wear faster under daily use. We build ours so you don't have to think about that.

Does a built-in Murphy bed add value to a Brentwood home?

A hardwood unit anchored and finished into the room is generally treated like custom cabinetry by appraisers and buyers. In Brentwood's market, where buyers expect finished, functional space, a real guest suite that doesn't sacrifice a room is a selling point. Freestanding retail wall beds are furniture and don't carry that value.
